Hi, I’m Lauren.

I’m a nature-based video producer & photographer who uses visual communications as a tool for community engagement & positive behaviour change.

But mostly I’m trying to hang out among the trees and make you laugh.

Lauren is a video producer & photographer based in Melbourne.

Graduating with a Masters of Producing (Film and TV) the Victorian College of the Arts / University of Melbourne, Lauren began her career in the screen industry assisting social impact production and documentary distribution before coordinating communications and digital content for The Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts | Australian Film Institute (AACTA | AFI).

With a keen desire to use her storytelling skills as a tool to learn more about the world around her, Lauren has worked with various not-for-profits and environmental organisations including the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria, Greater Western Water, Make-A-Wish Australia, and the mobile zoo Wildlife Gone Walkabout to create content for their educational programs, promotional videos, and photography galleries.

Lauren spent two years at Conservation Volunteers Australia where she was lucky enough to visit to conservation sites around the country to capture everyday people taking action for nature. She also spent her days crafting effective community and digital engagement plans, using visual content to organise and mobilise nature stewards across Australia.

On behalf of Conservation Volunteers Australia Lauren has created video content with CSIRO, Australian Geographic, The Australian Government, and has had her work featured in The Australian Museum (how cool is that!?). She’s currently finding the best green spaces in the state as the Digital Content Producer for Parks Victoria.

In her spare time she can be found curled up with a good book, trying her hand at pottery, or hanging out with her silly little dog Martha.

She’s known to take a few good snaps:
